SALON POLICIES

By scheduling an appointment at Banana Nails you are agreeing to these policies.

This policy is effective as of 1 September 2022.

Cancellations

We understand that things can come up. We value your time, and we hope you value ours, too. If you need to make changes to your appointment, please let us know 24 hours in advance to avoid fees. 50% fee will be charged in case of late cancellation within 24 hours, 100% fee will be charged in case of no-show. 

You are welcome to send your friend/relative/coworker instead of you to avoid cancellation fees.

Latecomers

  • Please be sure to arrive on time. Any late arrivals, more than 15 minutes, will need rescheduling and will incur a late cancellation fee of 50% of the booked service price. 

  • If you have a longer appointment, for example Sculpted gel nails, and you are 30 minutes late - we can propose you a shorter appointment such as no chip manicure or pedicure to avoid paying late cancellation fee.

No Shows

Please be advised that in case of no show and refusing to pay no show fee your profile will be blocked. You will not be able to schedule an appointment with us until the fee will be paid.

Unconfirmed appointments.

To avoid no shows we reserve the right to  cancel unconfirmed appointments 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment. All appointments must be confirmed with a credit card.

Children 

  • Hazardous chemicals, products and implements within the salon environment makes us strictly prohibit unsupervised children in the salon. In the event you must bring a young child into the salon, please provide proper supervision for them.

  • We are asking you to, please, have your child seated in a separate chair. Unexpected moves can lead to trauma, especially while a nail technician is working with an e-file.

Refunds

We do not offer refunds under any circumstances. If you are not satisfied with our work, please contact the front desk via phone 708 669 7479 or manager via e-mail info@banana-nails.com to to discuss further details. Please attach pictures for better understanding of the situation.

Repairs

  • We at Banana Nails only use high-quality brands including TGB, Valentino, Tammy Taylor, LE and more. We take pride in our skill and ability to keep you at peace. This is why we offer a 10-day guarantee for all our gel services. Chipping of the gel polish/gel, lifting, & peeling are rare but may occur in unique circumstances. If this is the case, please make an appointment to return to our salon & allow us to make it right, without any additional charge.

  • Regular polish is not guaranteed.

  • However, if you cut off half of the nail while cooking, or broke it by using nails as a tool - you will be responsible for paying the full price for nail repair. 

  • The nail repair costs do NOT include nail art or design that may have previously been on the nail needing repair or replacement. If you wish to have the design replaced this will be an additional charge based on the design chosen by the client.

Privacy 

We are using the Fresha app for bookings, you can read their privacy policies 

​

Health and Safety

  • We only provide Gel Nail services on those individuals 16 years of age and older and we only provide Gel Polish services on those individuals 12 years of age and older!

  • If you test covid-19 positive or have fewer please let us know asap to reschedule your appointment and avoid no show fee.

We Reserve the Right to Refuse Service To:

  • Anyone with a nail condition we suspect may be contagious

  • Anyone with open or infected wounds on the treatment area

  • Anyone in ill health that we may suspect may be contagious, or we fear could be harmed by our service

  • Anyone demonstrating inappropriate behavior to our team members and other customers

Pricing

Prices are subject to change at any time. If there is any price change it will become active on the 1st day of a month. Usually we send out email notifications prior. It is the client's responsibility to have active email addresses and phone number at the booking profile. 

​

Payments

We accept major credit cards, pay by link option or cash. Tips are not required, but greatly appreciated. Tips are cash or zelle only.
