Prepare to compete with confidence in the Global Talent Beauty Cup or any professional nail competition. This intensive training is designed for nail technicians who want to understand competition standards and elevate their technical precision. During this class, participants will focus on the Stiletto Nails and Salon French Nails categories, learning how to meet strict judging criteria while managing time during a live competition. The class is led by Vira Dovbeniuk — multiple international nail competition winner and experienced judge, who will share insider knowledge on what judges truly look for when scoring competition work. Participants will learn: • Competition rules and judging criteria for Stiletto and Salon French categories • Proper structure, symmetry, and architecture required for competition nails • How to build the correct longitudinal and transverse arches • Creating a precise stiletto shape with sharp symmetry • Techniques for achieving the perfect competition French smile line • Correct sidewall alignment and apex placement • How to avoid common mistakes that cause point deductions • Time management strategies for on-site competitions • Professional tips from a judge’s perspective This training will help you understand the difference between salon work and competition-level nails, refine your technique, and prepare you to present work that meets international competition standards. Whether you are entering your first nail competition or want to improve your results, this class will give you the technical foundation and confidence needed to succeed. What to Bring: Participants will practice on themselves during the class. • At least one hand free of product (bare nails) to practice on • LED/UV curing lamp Materials Bring the materials allowed for competition work: • Nail forms • Builder gels ( White, pink, clear, or camouflage materials for Salon French) • Acrygel / Polygel • Professional sculpting gels • Gel polish (solid color – for Stiletto category) • Nail brushes (builder gel and acrygel brush and liner brush recommended) • Pinching tools Not Allowed (Competition Rules): • Nail tips or dual forms • Hand-painting the French smile line with gel paint • Beige or nude gel polish colors for Stiletto coating Instructor: Vira Dovbeniuk Multiple Nail Competition Winner & International Judge
